BOYS RECREATIONAL

Where Strength Meets Skill

BOYS RECREATIONAL

The Discover Gymnastics Boys Recreational Program introduces athletes to the exciting sport of Men’s Artistic Gymnastics in a structured, progression-based environment that builds confidence.
Boys will develop strength, coordination, flexibility, and body control while learning foundational gymnastics skills across all apparatus. Each class is designed to support athletic development in a fun, challenging, and supportive setting.
Our program is divided into five progressive recreational levels, allowing athletes to build skills step by step. Coaches provide individualized feedback, track progress, and celebrate achievements as gymnasts advance through the program.
At every level, we focus on building confidence, discipline, and a strong foundation for any athletic future.

Fisher

Coaches say

Fisher always brought the energy, fun and was a ball of total high energy paired with strength. As a natural athlete, Fisher excelled very quickly with gymnastics skills, and his fearless nature kept him advancing through challenging elements and levels. When he retired, Fisher was a National Western Champion in Parallel Bars and High Bar, which is a huge achievement as a Level 9 gymnast.

Hugo

Coaches say

Oliver overcame so many challenges with being a tall gymnast to start. Built incredible strength. He was a monster in competition and his mindset was always incredible with focus at competition. He was always respectful and turned into a leader as the oldest one on Boys Team before he retired. Boys looked up to him, had so much fun feeding off his energy, talent and his fierce competitive spirit really flourished through his years here.

Gabriel

Coaches say

Gabriel as a really complete and well-rounded gymnast, takes coaching and correction very well because he is really into the sport of gymnastics. From our Discovery Classes as an eager and quiet explorer and now an outgoing, charismatic and extremely hard worker with Boys Team.

“My Discover coaches were always so supportive of me through my entire time during the sport and the positive memories we’ve all made over the years is what I remember most about gymnastics. It’s crazy to think back to when I got asked to join the Boys Team and then spent 10 years in gymnastics competing having a blast with my team, and then went straight into working at Discover Gymnastics as Birthday Party Staff on the weekends. Also was mentored into Coaching classes as my first real job, so it’s pretty cool! Now, I’m in college and I’ll always look back to Discover as my happy place that helped me grow.”

“I went to Discover for many, many years, think about 10 years in classes, and then to the competitive Boys Team. I really enjoyed my time at Discover, and I achieved great results as a gymnast. I retired as Regional Champion in Level 7, so I have pretty great memories competing and with my mates on team. Learned so much in my gymnastics days and continued on a stronger soccer player. I’m now in an elite soccer program in school for soccer in England. Looking back I see gymnastics conditioning and coordination helped me with my skills and discipline in soccer too. Coaches had us training a lot and got to have fun with.”

“I’ve been at Discover since I was 2 years old, and now I’m a competitive Level 8 gymnast on Boys Team. Proud to be one of two boys invited this year to be part of the National Future Stars Team and intensive training camp in Crossville, Tennessee. Love gymnastics here and I will continue working harder, so one day I can join the U.S. Olympic Team.”
